Brief Description of the Training
The training aims to familiarize participants with practical aspects of effective goal planning and execution. During individual sessions following the group training, participants will have the opportunity to work with a coach on topics of their interest.
Target Group and Participation Requirements
The course is intended for individuals with at least a doctoral degree, employed under an employment contract or appointment at the University of Warsaw in the research-teaching, research, or research-technical staff groups. The course is directed towards employees whose home unit is:

To participate in the course, it is required to submit a declaration of participation in a group session and two individual sessions.

Program Schedule
- What can we manage? Reflection on time, energy and personal effectiveness.
- Planning techniques: Eisenhower matrix (urgent/important), eat that frog, 5-minute rule, etc.
- Physiological foundations of personal effectiveness - managing one's energy, circadian rhythms, the role of rest.
- Goal setting – SMART method.
- Maintaining motivation – building effective habits in daily activities according to Charles Duhigg's concept. Dealing with distractions.
TRAINER – MSc Joanna Wasilewska
An organizational psychologist with twenty years of professional experience in leading consulting firms in Poland and abroad. She works with commercial, governmental, and non-governmental organizations. She created the Science Leader Competency Model and implemented international projects on five continents.
She facilitates the development of employees and organizations, assists organizations in diagnosing and developing their employees' competencies, supports managers in team management and employee evaluation. She completed postgraduate studies in Group Training and numerous specialized courses on soft skills development, including Drama Techniques for Trainers, Methods of Group Work, The Art and Science of Coaching.
She has carried out consulting projects for organizations such as UN-Migration, France-Telecom Orange, PZU, PKO BP, Henkel, Sephora, IDEA Bank, Santander Group, British American Tobacco, Polkomtel, RWE, OMV, Vattenfall Heat, Allianz, ING, Grupa Pracuj, Jeronimo Martins Distribution, Philips Healthcare, PZL Świdnik, Sanofi-Aventis, Mondelez, Ministry of Regional Development, Ministry of Health, and many others.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COURSE
The training is intended for individuals with at least a doctoral degree, employed under an employment contract or appointment at the University of Warsaw in the research-teaching, research, or research-technical staff groups, whose home unit is:

A declaration of participation in the group session and two individual sessions on the above dates is required. Employees may participate in activities organized under the IDUB Program provided that the topic of the offered training is relevant to the proper performance of the duties associated with the employee's position, function, or role at the University.
A non-academic employee is required to obtain approval from their direct supervisor to be excused from part or all of the workday for the time necessary to attend mandatory classes and the duration of the development activity, as specified in the template attached as Annex No. 1 to the regulations, and to present it upon the organizer's request.

The number of places is limited. A maximum of 10 participants can take part in the training.
