The course is dedicated to complete beginners and aimed at learning basic communication skills that might be useful during working and living in Poland. Participants will explore at the elementary level essential phrases, e.g.: how to buy a ticket, order a coffee or lunch, how to find your way around UW and deal with basic affairs.

The online course of 30 didactic hours lasts from 9th January 2023 till 24th March 2023 on the Kampus, Zoom and Google Classroom Platforms.

  1. the training is dedicated to the foreign employees of the University based on employment contract, especially the academics;
  2. individuals who meet the conditions above are accepted in the order of registration on the platform;
  3. registration for the training is tantamount to a commitment to participate in it.
  4. information about the results of the recruitment will be provided after the verification of applications and after the deadline.

In case there are not enough people qualified for the training, or for any reasons beyond the organisers' control, we reserve the right to change the date of the course or to cancel it.
